It’s what makes this Mt Pleasant townhouse work. The two story foyer called for calm,especially since we introduce intense color in the rest of the house. But we couldn’t resist beefing up the doorway into the living area with a new wrap of panels and crown. It makes the space stately and elegant, without taking up precious floor space. Here’s how we created this beautiful entry-

We started with some of our favorites:

SW White in High Gloss for all trim
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter in Eggshell
Global Views chandelier and accessories

We kept the original rug, lamps, and mirror, then shopped locally for a new chest. The staircase was left empty of art to keep space for future collections. Perfect.
