New Master Bedroom – Part II

We haven’t stopped working on the new master bedroom for our young homeowner near Belle Hall. She really wanted an unholstered headboard, but we didn’t want the room to get too girly. So, we used a custom framed headboard and sent it to our upholsterer for an upgrade! Using heavy foam core to beef up the depth of the center panel gives us a rich look without the hefty price tag. We definitely like to think outside the box to get the client the best use of their budget. The gold metallic zebra print is actually very subtle on this nubby linen, and we double welted it all in white linen to give a crisp edge. We wanted to create a piece the owner would enjoy for many years, and we think we accomplished it with this gorgeous, one of a kind, king headboard.
