Since 1992, AF Interiors has offered a wide range of services, from full-service design to initial consultations. Alex is an expert at space planning and complete room design. She designs beautiful spaces and brings them to life through a team of artisans and tradesmen that she has come to love and trust. Alexandre values the client relationship, and the team goal is always to meet the needs and surpass client expectations.

    Owner, Lead Designer

    Alex is a graduate of UGA and received a mastery achievement in faux finishes early in her career. She is passionate about people and loves creating spaces that serve her clients well. Alex and her husband, Ed, have been married and living in Charleston for over 30 years. They spend their spare time boating, biking, and hanging out with their children and friends.

    Design Assistant

    Originally from Minnesota, Holly relocated to Charleston after falling in love with the historic architecture. She assists Alex on all phases of the design process. Her favorite tasks are drafting floor plans and drawing elevations for projects in AutoCAD. Drafting reminds Holly of her after work hobby- playing video games!

    Soft Goods Specialist

    Mary Ann is our ‘Soft Goods Specialist’. She handles all our custom fabrication including window treatments, custom bedding, upholstery, cushions, and pillows. Originally from New York, Mary Ann has been a designer/project manager in the industry for over 20 years.

    From receiving to installation, Tad is the man with a plan. He has worked for the company since he could read a tape measure and now is our in-house expert installer.
